shop update

When I opened the shop I really wasn't sure what to expect. I was definitely afraid I would just sell a few headbands to family and friends and that would be the end of it. After just three months I've shipped to fifteen states and three countries! Seven Days has been featured in newspapers, written about on blogs, tweeted by nonprofits, and shared on Instagram. Because of this tremendous support I've been able to help two incredible families working to bring their children home. I spend every free moment cutting, sewing, and packaging. It's the best.

I realized that in all the craziness I haven't taken a minute to share my products here on the blog! I'm adding new headband prints weekly, I offer one-of-a-kind clay necklaces, custom essential oil diffusers, and this week I'm expanding into clip-on bow ties!

I've had so much fun dreaming and planning for 2015. Working for myself has been such a learning experience, but I'm having such a good time figuring it all out. It makes me so happy to see people using and enjoying products that I created.

Making essential oil diffusers is one of my favorite parts. I love all the ways people customize them! If you (or your sister, mom, friend, cousin, anyone!) are into essential oils these necklaces are the perfect way to create unique jewelry and keep your favorite oils with you all day.

I could just go on and on and on about how grateful I am to be doing this. If you haven't had the chance to check it out yet, make sure to stop by! There are still a few more days to support the McBride family in their journey to bring home their son Owen.
